I suspect that most users are using the newer version.

However, some of our testsuite customers are using the released version.

We're not sure yet when the next release will be, but we're thinking
relatively soon.  Our major goals are scalability (ability to run
hundreds of thousands of tests, create results files, etc.) and API
stability.  

We want to be able to guarantee that existing extension classes will
work forever more.
