[qmtest] QMTest review, metrics

I need to know how frequent the QMTest releases have been.  I'm not sure 
how to correlate the release list in the NEWS file with the dates in the 
  ChangeLog.  How many official releases have there been in the last year?

I'm thinking about judging it by the frequency of CVS checkins rather 
than official releases, since it was recommended that I use what's in 
CVS rather than 2.0.3.  Any idea what percentage of users are using code 
from CVS or patches that's newer than 2.0.3?
