[arm-gnu] Release notes comment and question (bit-fields)

Looking at the release notes for Sourcery CodeBench Lite EABI 
2012.03-56, I don't see the release notes for the previous version, 
2011-09-69. Instead it jumps to 2011.03-42. Guess this is just a typo.

The question is regarding a specific release note for the newest version 
2012.03-56:

On this mailing list a bug like this was discussed a while back 
(Aug/Sept 2010)
Subject: Access to volatile bit-fields.
It referenced this bugzilla report:

I think this was a fairly special case and did not mean that *any* usage 
of a bit-field was broken in older versions. ??
