Problem with transition from 'Run test' to 'Show results'

I have seen a strange behaviour in the transition of 'Run test' to 'Show 
results' and could not find out whether it is a known issue.
The transition is not correct when my test is running more than a few 
seconds. To reproduce the behaviour, I have made a test with following 
specifications:
Windows 2000, QMTest 2.2
TestName msword
Class command.ExecTest
Program C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\WINWORD.EXE
Target class thread_target.ThreadTarget

Running this test using the webbased GUI (Run - This test) will start up 
winword.
When i close winword directly, then QMTest will go to the following page:
http://127.0.0.1:3503/test/show-results

This is the correct behaviour.


Issue description:

Start the test (thus winword) and wait a few seconds (lets say at least 10 
seconds) before closing winword. When winword is stopped now then QMTest 
comes with:

In internet explorer an error page "The page cannot be displayed".
( URL= http://127.0.0.1:3503/test/run-tests?ids=msword )

In Firefox a message box pops up with title "Alert" and message "The 
document contains no data".
( status line: javascript:run_test(); )

It is however possible during the time that winword (or the test) is 
running, to go manually (with View - Results) to the page
http://127.0.0.1:3503/test/show-results

This page is updated every few seconds.
When closing winword with this page active, will correctly show the result 
at the next refresh.
