Jade

Although I was able to get the QMTest docs to build at home (albeit with
a zillion warnings and messages about files being skipped because of
their MIME types), my Red Hat 9 system at work is choking because it
can't find Jade. In pursuing that, I find that Jim Clark's Jade (if
that's the correct one) is old and doesn't even compile. I sent a bug
report to the email listed at the web site.
As a litmus test, I searched for jade at rpmfind.net. There is no
package for anything past Red Hat 6.2, so I'm wondering if I'm barking
up the wrong tree here. Has jade been absorbed into some other package?
More to the point, why didn't autoconf set things up so that
documentation tasks that rely on Jade are skipped if Jade isn't there?
Thanks and sorry for all the noise.
