qm-2.0.3 is functional on Mac OS X 10.3.1, despite the self-test
failure. Mark has a patch which corrects the self-test problem.
I had been using QMTest remotely with the latest OmniWeb web-browser on
OS X 10.2.8 , and haven't noticed any problems in its Javascript
support; the GUI seems to work fine. The latest OmniWeb browser uses
Apple's html framework, so presumably Apple's Safari web-browser would
work just as well, but I haven't tried it.
I don't have mozilla installed on my OS X system, so I've had to use
the following .qmrc file to bring up the GUI for local instances of
QMTest:
multivac% cat .qmrc
[common]
browser=open /Applications/OmniWeb.app
Substitute "Safari" or "Internet\ Explorer" for "OmniWeb" if you prefer
a different browser.
Regards,
-Steve
