dependencies

Hi,

I have a dependency set up with some tests which I am experimenting with 
and I run into the following error...

I have pairs of scripts in the same directory: a build and a exec.  The 
exec depends on the build, but when I try to run them, nothing happens.  
I can go and run the build manually and then try to run the exec... the 
build will work just fine.  But the exec that depends on it will not do 
anything... no error message... nothing.

Any help which could be provided is much appreciated!  I'm at a loss 
right now =(
