How do I load a custom test class

I have a test class called SingleCTest in a file called singlesource.py. 
 How do I get this test class to load into qmtest.  I have tried setting 
the QMTEST_CLASS_PATH environment variable to singlesource.py's path, 
and tried putting the file in lib/qm/qm/test/classes with the other 
files, but it still doesn't show up in the gui.  How are you supposed to 
load it?
