Everything is in CVS now that I can think of.  Only maybe adjusting of 
the compiler flags in the LINUXgcc.conf file could be done. 
-fno-default-inline hurts performance and -fstrict-aliasing is default 
with the gcc we're recommending.  I'd also change -O3 to -O2 everywhere 
as -O3 is usually worse.

Or not?
