From what you've posted, I understand that you configured IDE debugger
to connect to your local system, instead of your board. You should
specify your board's name or IP address in the IDE's debugger configuration.
E.g., on the board you should run
$ gdbserver :10000 myprog
and on your host system gdb should connect to myboard:10000 .
