The "Getting Started" guide provies detailed descriptions of the sprite
options:
share/doc/freescale-coldfire-4.1-32-m68k-elf/pdf/getting-started.pdf

In your case you need to tell the sprite which board you are using.
There are builtin board configs you can see by running "m68k-elf-sprite
-b"
