I have not tried 4.2 toolchain.
This is a very intermittent problem and very difficult to reproduce but
it does occur and may be related to system lockups we've been
experiencing as well. It would probably be very difficult to put
together a test case but I am willing to work with you to provide as
much information as possible.

Have you tried the 4.2 toolchain?
