I'd start by asking in the upstream Eclipse/CDT mailing list.
The default type resolvers for C/C++ are part of CDT.
PS: Sourcery CodeBench Personal Edition[1] comes with the latest
version of our commercial tools (also 4.6.1 based) and an
already integrated Eclipse Indigo (3.7.1).
